The League is excited to welcome Todd Waller, Safety Director for Sen. Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center, as he leads us in a fuller consideration of the benefits of having AEDs (automated external defibrillators) at our equine and ag events and event facilities.
This educational forum, eligible for credit within the League's certification program (CMEC), will focus on the critical role that AEDs play in emergency preparedness -- particularly within equine, agricultural and multi-use facilities.
In environments where large crowds, physically demanding activities and remote locations are the common recipe, having access to an AED can mean the difference between life and death during a cardiac emergency. This forum will provide front-line insight into how AEDs improve response times, increases survival rates and contribute to a safer environment for exhibitors, staff and spectators alike.
